For years, soldiers in the army of the Lord of hosts have been called and trained for the special work of spiritual counselling.  Yet the trend is that these ranks are thinning out almost faster than they are being established, and in the process, the children of the Lord are unnecessarily wounded.  It is essential for everyone who enters the battlefield to first lay down the basic foundations of spiritual counselling.  This is both a wedding feast and a war, and if this balance is not in place, we will never be able to endure in our calling against the attacks of the enemy.
